THEIR STORY
BATAX is a creative social venture combining Indonesian textiles and art with American design and lifestyle in the form of fashion, accessories, and home-décor. Our goal is to promote cross-cultural exchange featuring products made by people, not manufactured, combining the talents of designers, craftspeople, dressmakers, and artists from both sides of the planet.
THEIR PRODUCTS
Our products are cocktail and casual dresses combining the ethnic fabrics of Indonesia with denim, jacquard, linen, satin, velvet, and leather, as well as artisan accessories, jewelry, bed throws, pillows, and other home décor. Some of the Indonesian fabrics used in our products are batik, ikat, rang-rang, and ulos from the islands of Bali, Java, Flores, and Sumatra. All the dresses and home décor products are made by hand. The dresses are all made in the United States.
The colors of BATAX reflect the spirit, lifestyle, and social brightness of Millennial women and beyond.
