THEIR STORY
Choix was born from the frustration of a breastfeeding mother who couldn’t feel herself with the current nursing clothing options. Being a mom has its challenges but getting dressed shouldn’t be complicated. The founder, Marjorie surveyed about a thousand mothers and found out that 66% of them didn’t want to invest in a temporary wardrobe and yet they felt frustrated and not great about themselves during such a vulnerable time. In the early weeks of having a baby, it’s often a struggle to leave the house and when you do it, feeling good about how you look is therapeutic.
While the maternity and nursing clothing market isn’t really sustainable with many low cost and quality options that are being discarded after a short period of time, Choix offers a curated collection that celebrates the ever changing female body. The designs are postpartum and breastfeeding friendly. You don’t even have to be a mom to wear them.

Choix is inspired by the French roots of the founder with the California effortless spirit where she made her home. We believe what you wear makes a big difference in your motherhood journey. Mothers are constantly running around with no time to even take a breath.
At Choix, we choose only breathable fabrics such as Tencel Modal, Lyocell, Cupro and Cotton to make mom’s life “breezier”. We prefer to source from deadstock fabrics but if we can’t find what we love we source sustainable fabrics from responsible suppliers. Our debut collection “Cache Mon Coeur” means hide my heart. “Cache-Coeur” is a common French name for the wrap and cross designs. The silhouettes are timeless and laid back. They capture the chic and cool French mom style.
