THEIR STORY
LIYA Collective was founded with the intention of creating minimalist, sustainably made accessories that honor the traditional skillsets of the region in which they’re made, while providing safe, fair employment and supporting the local economy.
After spending the better part of a decade working and living abroad, LIYA founder, Deanna Cook, was inspired to reimagine what it means to be a global slow fashion brand in the modern era. Today, LIYA uses natural fibers and sustainable processes to make quality goods, thoughtfully designed in North America and ethically made by global partners.

LIYA accessories are inspired by minimalist designs and simple silhouettes. The designs rely on neutral colors and prioritize timelessness over trends, making classic pieces that you can wear for years and years to come.
Each collection was developed in partnership with a series of small, often family-owned businesses, from the farmers to the fiber factory to the mill and sew shop.
