THEIR STORY
Unity Outfitters was founded on the belief that what we put on our bodies matters as much as what we put in our bodies. With the majority of intimate apparel made using fabrics and dyes known to be toxic for people and the planet, we design the healthiest possible alternative using fabrics and dyes that are the safest for your skin and the environment.
We also know the important role that intimate apparel plays in making people of all sizes look and feel their best, so our designs are modern versions of classic styles designed for timeless beauty, and they are available in sizes xs - xxxl and A cup to J cup.
THEIR PRODUCTS
Globally, only 10% of textile and apparel businesses are owned and operated by women, so part of our mission is to increase that percentage. Our materials are sourced from women-owned businesses, they are designed, dyed, and cut by women, and they are sewn by a network of single mothers living with their families in North Carolina.
Looking good and staying healthy should never be an excuse for sacrificing sustainability or ethics, so we don’t cut corners and are proud to share our planet and people-friendly process with you from start to finish.
Our first collection is made with a responsibly-sourced cotton and soy blend fabric, and dyed by hand in small batches, using all natural plant based dyes. With so many exciting natural and sustainable fabrics and dyes available, we will be adding new styles, fabrics, and colors soon.
